Counting Every Blessing
Last October, I went with a group of friends to see the Irish Christian band Rend Collective. My favourite song of theirs is “Counting Every Blessing.” In seasons of uncertainty, it's easy to focus on what we lack instead of what we have. I love Rend Collective's Counting Every Blessing because it is a song about choosing gratitude and total surrender when we can't see what God is doing. If you haven't heard it yet, you can listen to it on their album, Good News, available on

God’s Care Through An Autumn Palette

"Seasons by definition don't last forever." My sister Natalie often quotes this back to me. I said these words to her years ago to encourage her when she was going through a challenging season. I honestly don't even remember what she was going through but I know it impacted her enough for her to say it often even now. I'm grateful to live in a country where we get to experience the four seasons. It's rare for someone who was born in a warm climate country like me, to love win
